This post idea came to mind as I’ve been thinking about conversations I’ve been having with people regarding their passions, my upcoming 2 year anniversary of leaving my 9-5 job and a comment a colleague made at the time he found out about my resignation. I worked a the American Red Cross’ Haiti Assistance Program at the Headquarters office in DC and my colleague was in Haiti. We had interacted both in person in Haiti and DC and via Skype. On my Skype profile I have a headline that reads: Find your passion! “Don’t die with your music still inside you.” Dr. Wayne W. Dyer. He reached out to me on Skype and said: “So your resignation, does it have anything to do with your headline here?” I said yes and he knew it already. 🙂
I’m sharing this about me and this powerful quote from Dr. Wayne W. Dyer to inspire, motivate and encourage you to not die with your music still inside you. You have a unique light to share with the world. By finding out what it is and sharing it, you become alive! Many times you know exactly what your unique gift is and at times you don’t. Keep looking and trying things out if you haven’t found it. If you have, go for it. It won’t be easy, I know. However it will be worth it. Like everything in life, this journey has had its highs and lows. I’ve never regretted choosing this path as I know I found my passion, my true calling that allows me to fulfill my life purpose.
Life is short, I hope you’ll allow yourself to live fully and won’t have any regrets at the end.
Please share your thoughts and/or any questions with me in the comments section. If you enjoyed this, please share it with anyone you know may benefit from it thank you!

I love that quote, it is so inspirational. I made a big leap into my passion as well. I’m not going to say the last 3 years have been easy, because they haven’t been. But I’ve loved every moment of it, I’m happier as a person, and I don’t regret quitting my big corporate job one bit. I love hearing that other people are passionate about what they do, it makes the world a better place.
